Aika Oyama

  • 1997: Born in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture
  • Childhood: Spent days dedicated to club activities (basketball). Dreamed of becoming a dog groomer.
  • 2016: Graduated from Aichi Prefectural Shinshiro Agricultural High School (received practical training in crops, livestock, and fruit trees, specializing in livestock for two years).
  • 2016: Joined Tsuruta Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (After press processing training, assigned to the spot welding manufacturing department. Also gained experience in gas welding and cutting. Acquired foundational knowledge of the Toyota Production System, including JIT, poka-yoke, and process improvement).
  • 2017: Traveled abroad for the first time, alone, to Cebu Island, Philippines, deepening interest in English and the world.
  • 2018: Joined Denso Corporation (assigned to the Sensor & Semiconductor Manufacturing Department. Consistently submitted five self-initiated improvement suggestions per month, thoroughly pursuing waste elimination and poka-yoke on site). Traveled to and volunteered in seven countries, including Australia, in the same year.
  • 2020: Visited a local free-range goat farm and developed a new dream of starting a farm overseas.
  • 2021: Traveled alone to Toronto, Canada, with 100,000 JPY in hand. Alongside three months of language study and restaurant work, began providing support for working holidays and international challenges.
  • 2023: Worked at a dairy farm in Ontario, Canada (250 milking cows, responsible for milking, operating machinery, etc.).
  • 2023: Learned about the fact that commercially available milk soap does not contain raw milk and the issue of discarded whey (milk serum), and began product development.
  • 2024: Developed and commercialized the world's first organic raw milk soap (AIKA SOAP) during a temporary return to Japan. Collaborated with OEM manufacturing companies and continuous employment support facilities in Fukuoka Prefecture to establish a community-co-creation circular model.
  • 2024: Worked at a Dairy Farm in Browns Creek, NSW, Australia (600 milking cows). Completed the Dairy Australia-certified "Milking and Mastitis Management" course.
  • 2025: Engaged in Dairy Farms in Jamberoo, NSW, Australia. Completed the Dairy Australia-certified "2IC (Assistant Manager / Farm Management) Program." Continues practical on-site operation and training with an eye toward future share farming (joint dairy management).
  • 2026: Scheduled to take Artificial Insemination and Pregnancy Testing courses.
Leveraging on-site capability, proactive spirit, and Japan-Australia network, develops a next-generation local business model that connects sustainable agriculture, manufacturing, and human循环.

Based on childhood adversity and traveling alone with only 100,000 JPY, I am active with the overwhelming "on-site capability" and "proactive spirit" cultivated in Japan, Canada, and Australia. I promote the creation of cross-border circular systems, not just theoretical discussions, including product development that solves environmental issues such as water resources and discarded whey, as well as Japan-Australia business support and working holiday accompaniment support.
